History
The following is a brief history of the Harvest Meadows neighborhood:
November 2004 |
The Developer creates the High Point Metropolitan District (the borders of which encompass the Harvest Meadows neighborhood) |

January 2005 |
Commerce City approves the High Pointe subdivision development plan - a 145-home neighborhood.

June 2005 |
The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Harvest Meadows (i.e. CC&Rs) is filed and the lots in the neighborhood are annexed into and become subject to the CC&Rs.

July 2005 |
The Harvest Meadows Homeowners Association, Inc. is incorporated and assumes responsibility for enforcing the CC&Rs and providing architectural review services to the neighborhood. All homeowners become shareholders in/owners of the Association.

February 2006 |
The District issues bonds totaling approximately $1.65 million to finance the build-out of the neighborhood's streets, sidewalks, park, utility lines, perimeter fencing, open space landscaping and storm water drainage infrastructure.

May 2006 |
The first single family home is sold by the builder (Centex Homes).

June 2012 |
King Soopers opens its doors for business (located at the intersection of 104th Avenue and Chambers Road)

March 2014 |
Centex Homes sells the remaining 15 undeveloped lots to Century Homes and Century Homes begins building homes on these remaining lots.
The Association's board hires Wolfersberger, LLC as the new property management company for the neighborhood.

May 2014 |
Three homeowners are elected on the High Point Metropolitan District Board. The District board changes from Developer-controlled to homeowner-controlled.

January 2016 |
The Harvest Meadows Homeowners Association, Inc (the HOA) transfers all responsibilities to the High Point Metropolitan District. The HOA stops assessing dues. |
